Slipknot

The American heavy metal band will be joined on their 2019 North American tour by Danish rock band Volbeat, French heavy metal band Gojira, and Polish blackened death metal band Behemoth on various dates.

The band formed in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa. The current band consists of Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan, Jim Root, Sid Wilson, Mick Thomson, Craig Jones, Chris Fehn, Jay Weinberg, and Alessandro Venturella. Throughout the year, the band has dabbled in different genres of metal, from nu metal to alternative metal. They launched their debut studio album, Slipknot, in 1999 which included hit singles, “Wait and Bleed,” and “Spit it Out.” Over the years the band has released various hit singles from, “Duality,” “Psychosocial,” and “The Devil In I.”

The 29-date trek will take Slipknot and crew across venues in North America. The tour is wet to open on July 26 in Mountain View, Calif. at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. Tour stops include Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena, Camden’s BB&T Pavilion, Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, and Des Moines’ famous Iowa State Fairgrounds. The tour will come to an end on September 8 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands, Texas.

Slipknot announced a new studio album set to release later this year at this time the album title nor the song lists have been made public. The new album announcement follows the bands latest single, “All Out Life,” released October 2018.Slipknot 2019 Tour Dates Slipknot have announced their 2019 Knotfest Roadshow tour.
